Job Description:

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in an accounting or finance support role

  • Strong Excel skills and general proficiency in accounting systems

  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, Sage Intacct, or similar) is an advantage

  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles, including accrual and cash-basis accounting

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Accounts Payable (AP) functions, including invoice processing, expense claims, and payment preparation

  • Perform Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including invoicing, collections, and receipt posting

  • Assist with bank and balance sheet reconciliations

  • Prepare and post journal entries as required

  • Support month-end closing activities and basic financial reporting

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal policies

  • Provide administrative and ad hoc support to the Finance team as needed
