Job Description:

The Audit Specialist supports the client in executing surprise audit engagements by performing asset verification procedures, coordinating client communication, and tracking audit requirements. Working closely with managers and internal teams, this role ensures the timely and accurate completion of audit tasks while maintaining clear and professional communication with high-net-worth clients. The Audit Specialist operates within a structured, process-driven environment, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with client-specific audit procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in audit, accounting, or bookkeeping.
  • Must have excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel (e.g., data tracking, advanced formulas, and reporting).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment.
  • Comfortable interacting professionally with high-net-worth clients.
  • Amenable to work in a hybrid setup and night shift

Responsibilities:

  • Perform asset verification procedures as part of surprise audit engagements.
  • Follow established audit processes and ensure accurate and complete documentation.
  • Assist in reviewing work completed by staff and interns for accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct client outreach and follow-ups to obtain required audit information.
  • Respond to client inquiries in a clear, professional, and timely manner.
  • Participate in client calls to support coordination, documentation, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain professional communication with high-net-worth clients.
  • Track outstanding audit items and ensure timely completion of requirements.
  • Provide regular updates to managers and stakeholders on engagement status.
  • Maintain organized records and audit documentation for reporting and compliance purposes.
  • Support onboarding and administrative setup for new audit engagements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
  • Provide support on other audit-related tasks during downtime, as needed.
